The di.me userware demonstrates thatpalette broad scope of social network functionality is technically feasible while preserving a user’s control about his personal data in social networking. As we show in this document, the di.me userware also meets user's expectations towards trustful design, support by intelligent advice, and multiple identities. To do this, the di.me userware was validated by users from all life spheres, sampled by the project partners. The following sections describe the preconditions, the test setting and the results of this validation. Afterwards, we analyse the results and close with a final conclusion.

Customers want control of their data, without sacrificing the convenience of online interaction. Businesses want as much insight on their customers as they can obtain, without losing their customer's trust. The di.me framework demonstrates a holistic approach to mitigate between these conflicting privacy interests and showcases how to effectively integrate personal information from social media into enterprise CRM within the European market environment.
